Get Active in the Heart of PEI

One of our favourite fresh air excursions in the Heart of PEI is paddling with Malpeque Bay Kayak Tours – the Bay is shallow and it’s a great place to start if you are not familiar with the joys of kayaks or paddleboards! Maybe you’d rather get to know the region on horseback. Venture Stables can take you and the family on a short, guided trail ride in Freetown area. Camping is enjoying a rise in popularity and the Heart of PEI offers campgrounds to set up your tent or RV in Cabot Beach, Darnley and New Annan. As Islanders we find that our miles of sandy beaches are perfect for walking and swimming (or let’s face it- lounging on a towel with a good book).
